Bedford, MA (February 2007) -- ThermaCELL, manufacturer of the only patented, pocket-size, portable, area mosquito repellent devices, has added new features and economically priced its mini line of products which utilize the same technology as the full size line to provide up to 98% protection from mosquitoes and other biting insects. The ThermaCELL Mini Lantern and Compact Appliance are cordless, odorless, affordable and now have an "easy on" ignite button allowing them to be turned on and off with the click of a button. These highly portable devices are now even more convenient to use as there is no need for matches or lighters with the automatic, toggle ignite switch.

Both pocket-size units are ideal for use in the backyard as well as the great outdoors. ThermaCELL creates a protection zone from biting bugs on your deck or yard when entertaining, gardening, or working around the house. ThermaCELL weighs less than a pound and works in minutes, so it is also easy to bring along to sporting events picnics, or camping trips. The ThermaCELL Mini Lantern stands 4 ½" tall and has a mottled globe for light display purposes, topped with a grill to heat the repellent pad. The Compact is 5 ¼" in length with a circular grill for the repellent mat.
